Overview

Diane Evans advises clients in energy regulatory proceedings, investigations, and transactional matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state public utility commissions, and federal courts. She is experienced in a wide range of natural gas, electric, crude oil and petroleum regulatory matters, including market-based, cost-of-service, and contract rate proceedings; administrative litigation; and project development transactions.

Diane also provides guidance on complex regulatory issues arising from the Federal Power Act, the Natural Gas Act, and the Interstate Commerce Act.

While in law school, Diane served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Joel R. Branscom of the 25th Judicial Circuit of Virginia.

Prior to law school, Diane was a Bonner Scholar at the University of Richmond.
