Overview

Mary Franco is an associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, where she advises clients on federal and state energy regulatory matters.

Mary has experience dealing with issues arising under the Federal Power Act, the Interstate Commerce Act, and the Natural Gas Act.  

 
Prior to joining Baker Botts, Mary served as an attorney-advisor in the Office of Administrative Law Judges at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) where she advised on contested proceedings involving independent power producers and electric utilities on rate filings, transmission and distribution, and reactive power.

While in law school, Mary served as a judicial extern at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
