Overview

Alexander Hendry is a Partner and the Head of Baker Botts’ Technology practice in the Middle East. He provides strategic advice on business-critical, first-of-their-kind technology projects, and the negotiation and drafting of complex technology contracts.

Renowned for his involvement in some of the world's largest, most significant, and most pioneering technology projects, Alexander has gained recognition as a "Rising Star" and a "Key Lawyer" for Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) by The Legal 500 EMEA (2023).

Alexander advises clients globally on legal and commercial issues relating to technology, with a particular focus on space and satellites, digital infrastructure, fintech, defense, enterprise IT, outsourcing, intellectual property, and data privacy. His experience also includes entertainment, sports, and media contracts, and technology regulatory compliance.

Alexander holds an APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (APM PFQ) from the Association for Project Management, and has completed CodeClan's "Coding for Professionals" course.
