Overview

Arman Kuyumjian is the Co-Head of the firm's Cross-Border M&A Practice and a partner based in New York in the firm's Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Kuyumjian focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, joint ventures and other strategic alliances.

Mr. Kuyumjian has significant experience representing public and private companies, as well as private equity funds, in mergers and acquisitions, distressed and cross-border transactions. He also provides counsel on corporate governance, shareholder activism, defensive measures and other strategic considerations.

He represents local and multinational clients in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, transportation, banking, asset management, communications, high-tech, energy and real estate industries.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Mr. Kuyumjian led corporate transactions for an international law firm in its New York office.

  • Novacap, the private equity fund, in its leveraged acquisition of Cadent, a converged TV adtech pioneer, from Lee Equity Partners
  • Swire Pacific Limited in the carve out sale (on-going) of Swire Pacific Offshore Holdings Limited, an owner and operator of a fleet of specialist offshore support vessels servicing the energy industry in major offshore production and exploration regions, to Tidewater for cash and warrants, and a series of related capital markets transactions
