Scott primarily focuses on midstream and LNG project development activities, including complex commercial contracts, A&D, rights-of-way, construction, operations, and joint ventures, in addition to energy regulatory (state and FERC) and litigation counseling. He also regularly advises corporate boards and committees on midstream transactions.
Scott has extensive experience with long-term commercial contracts related to gathering and pipeline transportation (including state and FERC tariffs); processing and fractionation; interconnection, compression, blending, treating, stabilization, and pumping; storage (underground and above-ground) and terminaling; commodity sales (including NAESB, ISDA and other forms), asset management, and marketing; feedstock, supply, offtake and offloading; liquefaction and terminal services; saltwater disposal; and hydrogen and CCUS.
Scott clerked for the Honorable Vanessa Gilmore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Before law school, he worked as an energy analyst for Accenture.
