Overview

Tyler Murray represents high net worth clients in complex tax litigation. Utilizing his advanced tax training and business experience, he advises clients on federal gift and estate tax issues. Mr. Murray also regularly assists clients in matters involving hard-to-value assets (e.g., closely held business interests).

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Mr. Murray gained valuable exposure to corporate tax planning and controversy while working as a tax attorney at Exxon Mobil Corporation. He also obtained valuable tax compliance and planning experience during his time in public accounting as a senior tax associate at Ernst & Young LLP.
