Overview

Kassia Pletscher is an Associate in the Antitrust and Competition law practice in our London office. Her practice focuses on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, abuse of dominance, and cartels investigations. She also has experience in consumer protection law.

Kassia Pletscher holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Oxford. She was called to the bar in England and Wales in 2016, and fully qualified as a barrister following completion of pupillage in 2019. She obtained Postgraduate Diplomas in Consumer Law and EU Competition Law in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Prior to joining Baker Botts in 2024, Kassia Pletscher worked as a Legal Adviser at the Competition and Markets Authority, where she gained experience across a variety of competition and consumer law investigations. From 2018-2021, she maintained a busy practice as a self-employed barrister, covering a range of practice areas including criminal law, local authority, and financial regulation.
