Dr. Benjamin Rosen serves in the Intellectual Property Practice of the firm's New York office working primarily on life science-related matters, including small and large molecule technologies. Dr. Rosen’s practice is full spectrum, including worldwide patent prosecution, due diligence, freedom to operate and patentability opinions, and litigation support. Dr. Rosen also advises clients, including multinational conglomerates, in intellectual property transactions, including acquiring and licensing IP, nondisclosure agreements, and collaboration agreements. Representative technologies include stem cell therapies, gene editing, next generation sequencing, cancer therapeutics, and various medical devices. Dr. Rosen has further experience with life sciences matters that intersect with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
Before law school, Dr. Rosen completed his M.S. and Ph.D. at St. John's University, where he investigated the aggregation of α-synuclein associated with Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Rosen attended Ithaca College for his undergraduate studies where he conducted research in the capture of green light in photosynthetic plants.
