The Baker Botts Quarterly SALT Update Webinar is on October 21, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. PT. In this program, William Gorrod, Matt Larsen, Derek Young and Ali Foyt will address recent state and local tax legislation and cases, and will provide an opportunity for roundtable discussion of important state and local tax issues impacting companies. In addition, Greg Buehrer from the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration will give an update on DTFA administrative changes, policy, and COVID issues.

This program is an overview tax program and there is no advanced preparation or other prerequisites required. There is no charge for attending the program, and CLE and CPE credit are currently pending approval. While normally this program would be provided in luncheon format, due to social distancing requirements, we will be hosting the program in a webinar format.

• Recent pending or decided state and local tax cases 
• Taxpayer trend towards relocation from high tax states to low tax states
