DALLAS, January 3, 2022 – Dallas-based D Magazine named Baker Botts lawyers Megan LaDriere White and Monica Smith to its “Best Lawyers Under 40 2023” List.

Megan focuses on complex patent and technology litigation, as well as patent prosecution and counseling. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Dallas, where she is currently serving as the Vice President of Signature Projects and previously served as the Grants for Innovative Teaching (GFIT) Chair in 2020-2021.

Monica represents companies in complex commercial and intellectual property disputes, including false advertising, breach of contract, trade secrets, trademark, and patent matters. She is also a Director for the Dallas Women Lawyers Association where she spearheads the organization’s membership efforts and was named a 2022 Director of the Year.  In 2023, Monica is participating in the Dallas Bar Association’s Women Empowered to Lead Leadership Program (“We Lead”).
