Deal Description: On September 24, 2023, Coronado Group, LLC (Coronado Group), an affiliate of The Energy & Minerals Group (EMG), entered into a definitive agreement with a wholly owned subsidiary of Sev.en Global Investments A.S. (Sev.en), a Czech-based investment group focused on investment in the power generation and mining sectors, pursuant to which Coronado Group and certain other sellers agreed to sell to Sev.en a 51% interest in Coronado Global Resources Inc. (ASX: CRN). The 51% interest consists of shares of common stock and chess depositary interests owned by Coronado Group and certain other sellers, as well as the sole share of Series A preferred stock held by Coronado Group. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals in Australia and the United States.

Coronado Global Resources produces high-quality metallurgical coal from three mining complexes, in two of the largest and most productive metallurgical coal basins in the world – Queensland’s Bowen Basin in Australia and the Central Appalachian region of the United States.
