Based in the Dubai office, Hassan Mostafa Kamel Elsayed has broad corporate and commercial law experience in the Middle East, including international arbitration, litigation, international commercial and corporate matters, joint ventures and government procurement and claims. Mr. Elsayed’s experience includes handling a large number of arbitrations on behalf of Egyptian industries before the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris and local arbitration and litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in assisting in the preparation of the government claims of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva arising from the Gulf War.

Dorine Farah, who is based in the London office, focuses on international arbitration. Her practice involves a mixture of commercial and investment-treaty arbitration. Ms. Farah has extensive experience with arbitral practice and procedure both in civil and common law systems. Her practice also includes representation in investment-treaty arbitrations and pre-contentious advice on various international law and cross-border issues. She routinely advises States and international companies on their rights and remedies under general principles of international law and bilateral investment treaties. She is also an experienced advocate who has appeared before many of the most prominent arbitrators. She has acted as counsel in both institutional and ad hoc arbitrations (including under the ICSID, ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, DIAC, Swiss and ICDR rules).

With a legal career spanning 40 years, Michael S. Goldberg, based in the Houston office, has served as lead counsel in diverse litigation matters including antitrust/competition, banking/finance, bankruptcy, commercial, construction, corporate acquisitions, defamation, discrimination, energy, entertainment, environmental, ERISA, FCPA and other criminal investigations, intellectual property, partnership, premises liability, products liability, qui tam, real estate and sports law.
