Overview

Edward Hills is Special Counsel in the Global Projects group of the firm's London office.

Mr. Hills' practice focuses primarily on advising borrowers, sponsors, export credit agencies, banks, multilateral lending agencies and Islamic finance institutions on complex, large-scale energy and natural resources and infrastructure projects around the world. Mr. Hills' experience also includes advising clients on construction agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, concession agreements, supply agreements, and other project documents in the energy, power and water and metal and mining industries, and the infrastructure sector.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Mr. Hills worked in the London offices of a major U.S. headquartered engineering and construction company and before that was counsel at an international law firm in the Middle East.
