LONDON, 30 November 2023 – Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology and life sciences law firm, has been named Corporate Team of the Year at the Law.com International British Legal Awards, which took place on 29 November 2023.

The team received recognition for its work on the NEOM Green Hydrogen Project, the world’s largest carbon-free hydrogen production plant with a total investment value of USD 8.4 billion. 

A cross border team of Baker Botts lawyers in the UK and the Middle East, led by UK-based global projects partner Stuart Jordan, advised Air Products and Chemicals Inc. (Air Products) on all aspects of this ground-breaking development, which included the joint venture, offtake and EPC contracts. NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is an equal joint venture by ACWA Power, Air Products and NEOM Company.
