Overview

Jeffrey Johnson helps to resolve complex commercial and IP litigation for the high-tech, energy and life sciences industries. Jeffrey earned his reputation as a first class litigator in the Eastern District of Texas, one of the nation's toughest jurisdictions. Known for extricating clients out of multi-faceted litigation with creative settlements, he now represents clients throughout the country and in Asia.

Jeffrey manages all aspects of litigation from discovery to arguing motions and Markman hearings to trial. With his doctorate degree in chemistry and engineering and his prior work as a scientist, Jeffrey brings a robust understanding of technical issues. Jeffrey has litigated matters concerning a variety of technologies, including: High-tech: semiconductor technology, integrated circuits, internet protocols and security software, fuel cells, adhesives, telecommunications, handsets, and distributed systems; Energy: liquefied natural gas, gas-to-liquids, hydrocarbon recovery, well completion, wireline, downhole tools, drilling equipment, drilling muds, proppants, coriolis flowmeters, mud additives, mineralogy, chemical processing and polymer chemistry; Life Sciences: pharmaceuticals, medical devices, DNA sequencing and software.
