Ushma Mehta is an associate in the Global Projects Department. She focuses her practice on the representation of lenders, borrowers, and private equity sponsors in a variety of financing transactions, including leveraged finance, acquisition finance and project finance.
Prior to joining Baker Botts, Ushma practiced in the debt finance and private equity practice groups of two international law firms. In addition, she served as in-house counsel in the commercial lending group of a large financial institution, where she advised internal clients on every aspect of the loan lifecycle.
