Michael Ritter’s practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution of utility and design patents, patent validity, freedom-to-operate and clearance issues, acquisition-related due diligence, and litigation. With a background in physics and biomedical engineering, Mr. Ritter’s practice spans a broad range of technological fields, including medical devices, consumer products, software and business methods, and applied physics.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ritter worked at an IP consulting firm providing patent and prior art searching and analysis for both law firms and medical device companies.
