Overview

With over twenty years of legal experience, an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA, Adorys helps clients navigate the intersection between business imperatives and complex legal frameworks. She is a practical business lawyer. Her ability to see the world from her client’s position enables her to structure and execute transactions that support each client’s business goals.

Adorys is a trusted advisor to companies, investment banks and investors in equity and debt capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and general corporate matters. Adorys advises domestic and foreign clients across a variety of industries, such as energy; technology, media and entertainment; international shipping; and offshore drilling. She advises clients on securities laws matters and public company compliance. She has significant experience in complex corporate structures; master limited partnerships (MLPs) and other partnership structures; and joint ventures, as well as with convertible and exchangeable debt securities and a variety of other corporate financing structures. Adorys also advises clients on emerging issues involving environmental, social and governance (ESG) and artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition to her legal work, Adorys serves as Chair of the New York Corporate Department.
