WASHINGTON, D.C, May 2, 2023 - Baker Botts was the biggest contributor in the nonprofit Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights (CAIR) Coalition’s fourth annual Spring for Justice Campaign, which supports CAIR’s appellate impact litigation project, the Immigration Impact Lab.

Baker Botts’ participation in the initiative is led by partner Jeffrey Oliver, special counsel Lee Davis and associates Elizabeth Broussard and Wyatt Carlock.

CAIR Coalition strives to ensure equal justice for all immigrant adults and children at risk of detention and deportation in the Capital region area and beyond through direct legal representation, know-your-rights presentations, impact litigation, advocacy, and the enlistment and training of attorneys to defend immigrants.

In total, the Spring for Justice Campaign raised over $120,000 for the Immigration Impact Lab.
