Carina Antweil is the Deputy Chair of the Houston Corporate Department. Carina represents public and private companies in a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and spin-offs. Carina also counsels issuers, investment banking firms and other investors in registered offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities, including initial public offerings, follow-on and secondary public offerings and 144A offerings. Carina’s practice includes general corporate matters, including ESG matters, securities laws, Exchange Act reporting, takeover defense and corporate governance practices.
Carina has substantial experience across industries, with a particular focus in energy, petrochemicals and residential homebuilders.
Carina also serves as external pro bono general counsel to Communities in Schools of Houston, the largest provider of campus-based counseling and support services to students throughout the Greater Houston Area.
