Beau Carter is a litigation associate in the Houston office of Baker Botts. He represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters with a focus on appeals and critical motions. Beau has briefed and argued appeals in both state and federal court.
Before joining Baker Botts, Beau served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to the Honorable Jeffrey S. Boyd of the Supreme Court of Texas. In between those clerkships, Beau served as a Gregory S. Coleman Fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General of Texas.
