Overview

Olivia represents businesses in commercial litigation in state and federal court, including securities and shareholder claims, employment matters, government investigations, and other complex commercial disputes. At Baker Botts, Olivia has served as second chair in both trial and appellate courts in Texas, and has also been a key member of trial teams litigating in the Southern District of New York and Delaware Court of Chancery.

Prior to joining the firm, Olivia clerked for the Honorable Sam A. Lindsay and the Honorable John R. Parker in the Northern District of Texas. Knowing the innerworkings of the courtroom enhances her ability to successfully advise clients in navigating complex litigation. Olivia leans on this experience in drafting and evaluating motions, discovery, and trial preparation.

Olivia received her J.D. from the Texas A&M School of Law, where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Texas A&M Law Review, a member of the Community Development Clinic, and a legal writing and research teaching assistant. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn in the Northern District of Texas and the Honorable Elizabeth Kerr of the Second Court of Appeals in Fort Worth, Texas.
