Overview

Louis Delvaux is an associate in the Antitrust and Competition Practice of Baker Botts’ Brussels office.

His practice specializes in EU and UK competition law, with a focus on merger control and behavioral investigations conducted by the European Commission and the UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Louis advises clients on complex transactions involving international merger control laws, as well as matters related to the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation and Foreign Direct Investment control.

Louis has guided clients across a diverse range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, private equity, energy, automotive, semiconductor and chemicals, providing strategic legal guidance and navigating intricate regulatory frameworks. He also advises clients on competition law compliance.

Louis also advises clients in complaints to the EU Commission, the UK CMA and EU Member States competition authorities. He has also advises clients on exposure to Article 101 and 102 TFEU, in relation to their pricing, commercial or distribution strategies.
