Overview

Matthew P. Erickson is a litigation associate in the Austin office. He represents clients in a variety of complex litigation matters with a focus on critical motions practice and appellate proceedings.

Before joining Baker Botts, Matthew clerked for Judge Don R. Willett of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Matthew also devotes a significant amount of time to mentoring law students. He serves on Law Clerks for Diversity's Board of Directors and manages the organization's mentorship program.
