Overview

Jessica is an energy and LNG/natural gas focused special counsel based in Singapore, with extensive experience advising on major energy project development and operational matters and on complex M&A transactions across the energy sector globally (with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region).

She has significant LNG experience, having advised on the development of a number of LNG regasification projects (including FSRUs and gas to power projects) and LNG liquefaction projects, including advising on project structuring, joint venture arrangements, construction and procurement of project infrastructure, FSRU charter arrangements, LNG marketing and procurement and natural gas sales and transportation arrangements.

Jessica's LNG marketing and procurement experience includes advising a range of clients (both sellers and buyers) on the terms of sale and purchase agreements for long and short-term supply of LNG, as well as a number of LNG price review processes.

Jessica has also advised on a number of high value acquisitions and disposals in the energy space.

  • Total, Woodside and MPRL on the Block A6 offshore integrated gas development in Myanmar. *
  • AGL on the development of the Crib Point floating LNG receiving terminal on the east coast of Australia. *

  • LNG Japan, in relation to its participation in the Tangguh LNG project. *
  • JBIC, K-Exim, NEXI and the coordinating lenders in relation to the US$2.8 billion Donggi-Senoro LNG in Sulawesi, Indonesia. *
  • PTT Global LNG Company Limited on its 20 year LNG SPA with Cheniere, for supply of 1 mtpa from the Corpus Christi Project. *
  • An LNG seller in relation to contract price reviews under multiple long-term LNG SPAs with foundation customers from its liquefaction project. *
  • Sinopec on global LNG procurement arrangements. *
  • Diamond Gas International (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation) on its long-term LNG SPA with Santos for the supply of LNG from the Barossa project. *
  • A North Asian LNG buyer on its negotiation of an LNG sale and purchase agreement for the long-term supply of LNG from bp's global portfolio. *
  • Fluxys and Air Liquide on the development of the Antwerp@C CO2 liquefaction project, to be located at the Port of Antwerp, Belgium. *
  • LNG Japan Corporation in relation to the acquisition of an interest in the Scarborough LNG Project from Woodside. 
  • A bidder in relation to the proposed acquisition of Eni's upstream portfolio in Australia and Timor-Leste, together with its shareholding in the Darwin LNG Plant. *
