Overview

Katie Jeffress’s practice focuses on a range of environmental issues at the state and federal level, including regulatory compliance, permitting, and litigation. Her experience includes air and water permitting, waste issues, and enforcement matters.

Following graduation from law school, Katie clerked in the Texas Western District with Judges Lee Yeakel and Robert Pitman. Before law school, Katie worked for a non-profit in Jalisco, Mexico, and twice interned with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality under the Mickey Leland Environmental Internship Program.
