Baker Botts Partner Jeff Becker and Associate Morgan Mayne gave a virtual one hour CLE on Patent Venue on January 27th, 2022. Presented by the Dallas Bar Association's IP Section's Young Lawyers Committee, this presentation addressed recent strategies and cases related to venue and transfers for convenience, as well as the Federal Circuit mandamus practice that has become increasingly popular as of late. They also analyzed some of the Federal Circuit's recent mandamus decisions to provide a glimpse into how the world of venue is shifting.
