HOUSTON, May 9, 2022 - Legal publication Lawdragon featured two Baker Botts lawyers, Travis Wofford and Ted Paris,  in its “500 Leading Dealmakers in America”  list, highlighting their advisory work in corporate matters across various geographies and industries including oil & gas, renewable energy and technology.

Travis Wofford, who has made the list for the second year in a row, is Chair of the Corporate Department in Houston, Vice Chair of the Global M&A Practice, and member of the Securities Opinion Committee. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder engagement and corporate advisory work. Ted Paris advises clients in a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas exploration and production, oilfield services and other energy-related industries. Drawing on his substantial experience, including over 25 years with Baker Botts and prior experience in public accounting, he helps guide clients through some of their most critical and complex life-cycle transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, financings, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and business dispositions.
