NEW YORK, May 20, 2021 – “Pro bono-first” organization Her Justice honored Baker Botts with the ‘Her Justice Firm Commitment Award,’ which recognizes the three partner law firms that donated the greatest number of hours to Her Justice matters per capita of each firm’s New York office in 2020. Baker Botts took the top spot of the three law firms honored.

Her Justice has been working with women living in poverty in New York City for over 28 years, recruiting and mentoring volunteer lawyers to provide free legal help to address individual and systemic legal barriers.

Baker Botts has been a long-time supporter and partner of Her Justice for over 10 years. Baker Botts Intellectual Property litigator Eric Faragi, a member of the pro bono committee in the New York office who oversees and participates in many of the family court cases the firm handles from Her Justice, said, “We are proud of this award from Her Justice. We are happy to volunteer our time to support such a worthy cause and worthy organization.”
