Deal Description: Connect Fibre has announced an investment from Foresight Group LLP (“Foresight”). Connect Fibre is a community minded, full fibre network provider based in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. Foresight is a leading listed infrastructure and SME investment manager. 

The investment from Foresight is intended to support the installation of a full fibre network across the East of England delivering broadband of up to 1Gbps to over 100,000 homes and businesses.

In addition to enhancing essential local infrastructure, Foresight’s investment is intended to accelerate the development of a fast fibre network to support the UK’s digital ambitions following the UK Government’s commitment to bringing gigabit-capable broadband to at least 85% of UK premises by the end of 2025.
