Eileen Hyde's practice focuses on patent litigation and prosecution, including post-grant proceedings. Ms. Hyde has prosecuted in technologies ranging from software applications, cloud computing, and authentication, to toner ink cartridges, fryer apparatus, and currency sorting systems. Ms. Hyde has litigated technologies including satellite communications. Ms. Hyde has litigation experience from beginning to completion of litigation, including all phases of fact and expert discovery, claim construction, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and preparing for and participating in trial. Ms. Hyde has experience with post-grant proceedings, including drafting petitions for inter partes review, motions to exclude, and preparing for and attending the oral hearing.
Prior to joining Baker Botts, Ms. Hyde worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). While at the USPTO, Ms. Hyde examined U.S. patent applications in the area of surgical medical devices and therapeutic treatments.
