Deal Description: Baker Botts represented Houston-based Pan Capital Management LP (“Pan”) in the establishment of its private equity firm business including the formation of its initial $125 million private equity fund, Pan Resources Opportunity Fund LP (“Pan Resources Fund”). Pan Resources Fund will focus on lower and middle market investments in the North American upstream oil and gas sub-sectors of the energy industry.

Founded in 2013, Pan is led by highly experienced energy investment professionals who manage a portfolio of energy commodity hedge fund investments and private equity commitments with approximately $1 billion in cumulative assets under management.
