Deal Description: Modern Times Group MTG AB (“MTG”), an international mobile gaming group that owns and operates gaming studios with popular global IPs across a wide range of casual and mid-core genres, has entered into an agreement for US-based Monumental Studios, Inc. (“Monumental”), an independent game development studio and publisher, to acquire MTG’s USA and Chile-based studio Kongregrate, Inc.

The combination gives MTG a 30% equity stake in Monumental and brings together two gaming companies that share a strong vision for the future of gaming.
